The Evangelism Pillar is key to reaching the Lost. As an Underling it is vital to preach the Gospel to a lost and dying world as well as to show the love of Christ in a tangible way through physical ministry.
“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.”  -Charles Spurgeon

Christy’s House

Christy’s House is a women’s home in Conroe, Texas.  It is a place that will provide a new start for women that are having trouble getting back on their feet after some kind of hardship.  This is more than just a house; it will work with the ladies in many areas (spiritually, emotionally, socially, financially, vocationally and educationally) so that they can be successful assimilating back into all areas of society after being on the streets.

The house was named after Christy Avery who passed away in 2012 after a long battle with addiction and working to reintegrating into society after recovery.  After getting her life back on track, her desire was to be a light to others who were struggling and to help other women feel important and remember God’s words, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;…” (Jeremiah 1:5 NIV).

Christy’s House is a ministry of Under Over Fellowship and the goal is to bring God the glory in all things.  “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.” (Matt 25:40 NKJV)

Under Over Mission

Our instructions for Under Over Mission are taken from Matthew 25. We look for ways to feed the hungry and quench the thirsty, through sharing the gospel and meeting basic needs in individuals lives. Our Mission is located at 106 S. San Jacinto in Conroe. We have a food pantry at the Mission and also serve meals on Wednesday nights at the Mission. Matthew 25 also speaks of clothing the naked, visiting the sick and those in prison. At Over Under Mission, we have established a clothing closet as well as free laundry and shower facilities. We also have a men’s transitional work program called The Way that ministers to men in house and strives to help them get on their feet and get right with Jesus. The men of The Way and the women of Christy’s House makes crosses of all shapes and sizes and are trained on our CNC Router.   Our Underling Crosses are sold in retail stores like Lifeway Christian Stores and Books A Million book stores across the country.   If we can minister to you in anyway or you  would like to join us in reaching out to the community, please contact the Mission at (936) 494-2624.

Underling Cross

The Underling Cross Ministry started from a desire to empower men and women who were homeless or formerly homeless by means of a wood shop. Our first product that we produced was refurbished furniture. We would take the furniture donations that we would receive, then sand, paint and re-purpose the furniture. We would literally take someone’s trash and turn it into treasure. The idea to make crosses was born from the need to help those who were not the best woodworkers and needed a simpler product to produce. That simple product turned into something special. God has taken a simple wooden cross and used it to change the lives of a lot of people!  Our crosses are sold at Lifeway Christian stores all across the country! To learn more about our cross ministry contact Pastor Jerry Vineyard at 936-447-0258 or Pastor Phil Jones at 936-525-7021.
